These dolphins live up to about 20-26 years, measure between 1.3 and 2.4 meters, and weigh between 55 and 80 kg. They primarily feed on fish, crustaceans, and mollusks. They migrate to follow schools of fish.
The long-beaked dolphin lives mainly in warm surface waters near the coasts and reefs during the day and offshore at night. It is found in tropical and subtropical waters.
Sexual maturity is reached between 4 and 10 years. Females can give birth to a calf every three years after a gestation period of 10 to 11 months. We observe peaks in births between June and September.

Very long, thin rostrum, tapered "melon".
Dorsal Fin & Fins
Triangular dorsal fin with a straight tip.
Coloring
Dark gray dorsal side, light gray sides, white ventral side, dark band from the eyes to the pectorals, black lips and tip of the rostrum.
